Who the hell decided what could be covered in chocolate and what couldn’t? I suppose it started with fruits- strawberries, bananas, raspberries- and then went on to nuts- almonds, peanuts, whatever…
Woah, back up! In the presumably hundreds+ years we’ve been covering our food in chocolate, we never even finished the fruits! What about grapes? Apples? Mango? Did someone decide these fruits weren’t chocolate-worthy? Did we ever even try? I mean, we started covering INSECTS in chocolate! Was there really no better option?
Would you rather choke down a dry gulletful of chocolate covered grasshoppers or explore a tantalizing mix of chocolate and some choco-virgin citrus fruit?
Come on! Finish the fruits so we can move on. We cover bacon in chocolate now so we’ve got to be superclose to chocolate dipped filet mignon.
